About
Founded in 2006, Blossoms of Hope enhances life in Howard County through beautification and community support. Inspired by D.C.'s cherry blossoms, they plant trees and fund cancer-related, mental health, and other community causes. With ~2,900 trees planted, they've donated over $750,000, mainly to the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center's Cancer Resource Center. Their programs include community events and fundraising like Power of the Purse and Pretty in Pink.
Mission
Blossoms of Hope cultivates a thriving community by prioritizing mental health, supporting those impacted by cancer and their caregivers, and creating beautiful, healing spaces. We champion hope and resilience to improve lives and inspire connection.
