The Blue Ridge Orchestra, founded in 2005, is Western North Carolina's volunteer orchestra. A nonprofit ensemble, it engages the community by providing opportunities to perform, listen to, and learn about symphonic music. They offer accessible performances and support musical education, and are in residence at UNC Asheville’s Lipinsky Auditorium.

The Blue Ridge Orchestra engages Western North Carolina’s music community with opportunities to perform, listen to, and learn about great symphonic music. They celebrate WNC’s talent by creating opportunities for musicians and creating broad access to symphonic music.
