The Bovina Public Library, serving Bovina Center, NY since 1972, provides free materials, internet access, and resources. It hosts programs for all ages and offers a community gathering space. Originally the Bovina District 4 school building (built in 1893), the library was renovated in 1973 and again in 2018 and 2024. Its mission is to be an integral part of the local community and to provide access to free reading, internet and research materials, and to offer educational programming for both children and adults, and a meeting space for social, artistic, and educational programs.
