Boxer Haven Rescue, originally founded in 2005, merged with Great Lakes Boxer Rescue in 2024. Great Lakes Boxer Rescue, established in 2014, operates across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. They rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome boxers, providing medical care and carefully matching them with loving families. Their mission includes educating the public about the Boxer breed and promoting responsible pet ownership.
Mission
Boxer Haven Rescue is a private, all-volunteer foster home-based dog rescue program. They find homes for Boxers and Boxer mixes that have been abandoned, surrendered, and are homeless, and they've been helping boxers since 2004.
