About
The Boxford Historical Society, est. 1937, preserves, promotes, and interprets Boxford's history to foster appreciation of its heritage. Originally focused on preserving local memories and artifacts, its mission evolved to include maintaining the Holyoke-French House, a historic dwelling gifted in 1941. Through events and member dues, the Society restored the house and continues preserving it today.
Mission
The Boxford Historical Society strives to preserve the history of Boxford by connecting it to the present day. They host activities throughout the year including the Boxford Apple Festival and the Grand Illumination.
