The Brake Manufacturers Council (BRAKE STANDARDS ASSOCIATION INC) represents the interests of brake friction manufacturers. They communicate with government authorities, gather and share information, and conduct activities for the benefit of automotive brake parts manufacturers, such as the Copper-Free Brakes Initiative.
