Established in 1998, the Bristol Sports Hall of Fame & Museum honors Bristol's sports heritage. Founded by John Fortunato and Bob Montgomery in 1997, the organization's mission is to permanently honor, document, and preserve distinctive contributions and achievements to the sports heritage of Bristol. They host induction ceremonies and scholar/athlete dinners.
