Brooke Fire Safety Association, established in 1963 as Brooke Volunteer Fire Department, is a vital part of Stafford County Fire and Rescue. Responding to a 1963 forest fire, community members formed the association, offering fire suppression, EMS, and rescue services locally and in Northern Virginia as part of MWCOG. The department has grown to meet the community's needs.
Mission
Established in 1963 after a major forest fire, Brooke Volunteer Fire Department is a vital component of Stafford County, providing fire suppression and emergency care to the sick and injured. The organization formed in response to a need for local fire protection in the community.
