The Cache Creek Conservancy, est. 1996, restores and protects the Cache Creek watershed through environmental stewardship and education. Operating from the Jan T. Lowrey Nature Preserve, they focus on riparian restoration, habitat restoration, environmental education, and community involvement. Funded by mining companies, grants, and donations, they work to preserve this vital Northern California resource.
