The California Nurses Foundation (CNF), founded in 1971 by the California Nurses Association, supports registered nurses' professional practice and advances nursing science and education. CNF's programs include the Registered Nurse Response Network (RNRN), which sends nurses to disaster-stricken areas, and CNA/NNOC Scholarships for nursing students and nurses pursuing further education.
