The California Pops Orchestra, founded in 2007 and based in Palo Alto, brings entertaining pops shows to the Bay Area. As the nation’s only all-request Pops orchestra, they perform family-friendly shows with selections from light classics, jazz, latin, movie, Broadway, TV, cartoon, circus, vaudeville and big band music, preserving American musical heritage.
Mission
California Pops Orchestra serves seniors and their families through accessible, affordable live orchestra performances of the Great American Songbook, shaped by audience requests.
