Calvin Hill Day Care Center, founded in 1971, provides high-quality early childhood education for Yale-affiliated and New Haven families. Originating from social justice movements, it supports families' emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs. Partnering with the New Haven School Readiness Program, it offers an inclusive environment. Named after Yale's Calvin Hill and with a kindergarten named for Kitty Lustman-Findling, it has served the community for over half a century.
Mission
Calvin Hill aims to serve as a support for families, working in partnership with parents to help meet the emotional, social, physical, language and intellectual needs of their children.
