About
The Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair (CASEF), founded in 1978, inspires STEM interest and encourages creative research. CASEF partners with higher education and businesses to provide an International Science and Engineering Fair-affiliated competition for students in grades 7-12 across 41 counties. They also offer a Middle School STEM Competition and a Young Scholars Program for grades 5 & 6.
Mission
Our Mission is to inspire a greater interest in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) studies and careers in students in the Capital Area region by providing them with a forum to display their STEM related projects, and to recognize and reward excellence.
