About
Cappella Cantorum, founded in 1970, is a non-auditioned community choir serving Connecticut's Shoreline and River Valley. It provides singers of all ages the opportunity to learn, perform, and share choral music. Co-founded by Barry B. Asch and Phillip Zimmerman, it emerged from a desire to create a fellowship of choral singing in the community.
Mission
Cappella Cantorum provides singers of all ages the opportunity to learn, perform, and share great choral music. They offer music education and coaching to improve sight-reading, understanding of music theory, and vocal production.
