CASA of Houston County, founded in 1991, recruits, trains, and supports volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court. CASA volunteers ensure these children don't get lost in the system, providing a consistent adult presence until permanency is achieved. Gained nonprofit status in 2002.
