CASA of SoLA, founded in 2008, advocates for abused and neglected children in Acadia, Lafayette, and Vermilion Parishes. Trained community volunteers are appointed by judges to represent a child's best interest in court, working towards a safe, nurturing, and permanent home. CASA provides a voice for children in the child welfare system.

CASA of SoLA's mission is to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect in their community. By standing with the children, they advocate for safe, permanent, and nurturing homes where they can have the opportunity to thrive.
