Central Arizona Mountain Rescue Association (CAMRA), founded in 1970, is a non-profit organization comprised of unpaid professionals. CAMRA provides advanced technical rescue and wilderness emergency medical services. CAMRA is accredited by the Mountain Rescue Association and relies on donations and grants to save lives in any weather, any time, any place. CAMRA began with roots in the Climbing Kachinas, Phoenix Explorer Post #1, and the Arizona Mountaineering Club.
