NAMI Charleston Area, formerly CAMMI, provides support, education, advocacy, and outreach to individuals with mental illness and their families. Founded in 1991, the affiliate offers free programs, support groups, and resources across Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley, Georgetown and Horry counties. NAMI Charleston aims to improve the quality of care and advocate for the rights of those affected by mental health conditions.
