The Chatfield Brass Band, founded in 1969 by Jim Perkins, evolved from an all-male brass band to a full concert band. For over 50 years, it has maintained a tradition of community concerts and parades. The band also operates the Chatfield Music Lending Library, lending its collection to the public.
