About
The Cherokee Strip Museum Association, est. 1961, preserves Northwest Oklahoma's history. Originally in Herod Hall, then the Alva City Library, it moved to the former Alva General Hospital in 1975. It collects, maintains, & displays artifacts related to the Cherokee Outlet, offering educational programs to the public.

As a community-driven museum, we welcome families, students, and history enthusiasts to explore, learn, and connect with the stories that define our area.
