The Chestnut Hill Garden Club, though founded in 1915, continues its mission to enhance the community through various projects. Members volunteer in areas such as Civic Improvement maintaining the triangle garden near the Post Office, Conservation efforts, and supporting federal legislation related to the environment. Past projects include volunteering at Chelsea Naval Hospital and the Compost Pile project.
Mission
The Chestnut Hill Garden Club stimulates the knowledge and love of gardening, aids in the protection of native plants and birds, and encourages civic planting and the conservation of natural resources.
