The Children's Advocacy Center of Erie County, founded in 2002, ensures victims of abuse & their families feel safe telling their stories. They foster relationships between community systems responding to child abuse. The CAC provides a child-friendly space for investigative interviews, coordinates professionals involved in investigations, and offers referrals, education, & training to enhance child abuse investigation & prosecution. They also focus on prevention through programs like ACT Raising Safe Kids.

They achieve their mission by fostering effective relationships among community systems that respond to the needs of abused children.
