Founded in 1975, The Children’s Nursery School (CNS) is a state-licensed, nonprofit cooperative preschool in Portland, Maine. Their mission is to cultivate a community-centered, developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 3-5 through play, exploration, and social interaction. They are NAEYC accredited and focus on exploration and cooperation with a balance of structure and free play.
