About
The Chinese Academy of Cleveland, established in 1973, is one of the oldest Chinese schools in the Cleveland area. A non-profit, it promotes Chinese culture and teaches Mandarin. Located in Shaker Heights Middle School, it serves over 100 students in age-based tracks, CSL classes for adults, and cultural classes like calligraphy. The curriculum uses Bopomofo and Pinyin, with traditional or simplified characters. Classes are taught every Saturday morning, encouraging happy learning and improved language skills.
