The Cincinnati State Chapter of the AAUP, formed in 1990, is the union for Cincinnati State’s full-time faculty. It establishes agreements with the College administration covering faculty roles, selection, workload, academic freedom, compensation, and benefits. The AAUP also works to advance the professional standards of higher education faculty members.
Mission
Cincinnati State AAUP represents all full-time faculty of the College. As the official collective bargaining representative for Cincinnati State’s full-time faculty, AAUP establishes contractual agreements with the College administration covering faculty benefits, compensation, and protection of academic freedom.
