About
CLASP, Claremont After-School Programs, est. 2005, supports elementary students in Claremont Unified School District with homework help and enrichment. Born from a 1994 Youth Master Plan, CLASP is Claremont's only nonsectarian after-school program, serving ~70 students/year regardless of ability to pay. Volunteer tutors offer 90-minute sessions, twice weekly, acting as mentors. They donate over 10,000 hours/year, with support from part-time staff and a volunteer board.
Mission
CLASP enhances elementary students' academic, organizational, and social skills through high-quality after-school programs in Claremont. They offer individualized homework help and enrichment activities to students in the Claremont Unified School District, serving all students regardless of their ability to pay.
