About
Clean Water for the World, est. 2007, supports initiatives providing access to clean water. Originally "The Water Project" (2002), it became a nonprofit in 2007. CWFW partners with local NGOs, donating water purifiers to communities, mainly in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Haiti, with 290 units installed globally. Shifting to a grant-awarding model in 2025, CWFW aims to meet communities' unique needs more holistically.
Mission
Clean Water for the World supports work that provides and promotes access to clean water, recognizing it as a fundamental human right. They strive to improve community health by ensuring access to bacteria and virus-free water, preventing water-borne diseases.
