About
The Clifton Improvement Association (CIA), founded in 1993, is dedicated to preserving and enhancing Marblehead's open spaces. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CIA maintains Beach Bluff Park and advocates for the local coastal environment. They ensure public access to the beach and parking through private funds generated through membership, donations and gifts, playing a vital role in protecting the town's scenic and historic character.
Mission
The Clifton Improvement Association preserves, protects, and improves the scenic, historic, and natural character of local open and public spaces through information, education, and advocacy. They maintain Beach Bluff Park and provide open access to the beach for all.
