About
Founded in 1989, Coachella Valley Watercolor Society supports art education for children in the Coachella Valley. With over 240 members, this non-profit donates money and scholarships to youth organizations and provides art supplies for children’s art programs. CVWS offers workshops, plein air painting, life drawing classes, and member art shows.
Mission
The Coachella Valley Watercolor Society supports and promotes education in and appreciation for watercolor art. They provide inspiration and opportunities for members and local artists to get involved in visual arts and exhibit their work, while also supporting art education for young people in the Coachella Valley.
