The Coalition for a Tobacco Free Arkansas, est. 1992, is a network of organizations with a mission to prevent tobacco use in Arkansas. They raise awareness of tobacco's negative effects, provide data, distribute videos, and conduct public forums. They advocate for policy change and have successfully helped pass city ordinances limiting tobacco sales to minors and preventing preemptive state legislation. They aim to reduce the 4,900 annual tobacco-related deaths and $817 million in healthcare costs.
