The Colome Volunteer Fire Department protects citizens and visitors from emergencies. They provide cost-efficient emergency response, fire code application, and public fire education to a community of 240 people and a 432 sq mile area. In 2024, they responded to 9 fire calls and 24 ambulance calls.
Mission
The City of Colome Fire Department protects and enhances the quality of life for all citizens and visitors from the adverse effects of natural and man-made emergencies through cost-efficient emergency response, fire code application and public fire education.
