The Colonial Pipers, founded in 1972, are a Boston-based all-youth bagpipe and drum performance band. Playing traditional Irish and Scottish tunes, they perform in parades, civic events, concerts, weddings and funerals. New members are taught by senior members. The band is non-profit and self-sustaining.
