The Colorado Plateau Archaeological Alliance (CPAA), founded in 2007, protects and preserves nationally significant human landscapes through collaboration. They work with government, industry, landowners, and conservationists to encourage responsible development and enlightened management of cultural resources.
Mission
The Colorado Plateau Archaeological Alliance fosters conservation, preservation, and protection of archaeological, historic, and natural resources of the Colorado Plateau and Great Basin through research, outreach, and advocacy, free from commercial, government, or political influence.
