Mentor Programme
{Mentorship programme is designed to help teens find the career path that best suits them.}
Pet Therapy Visits
Provides trained and certified Therapy Teams (pet owners with their pets) to visit care and assisted living facilities, as well as children and adult specialty visits.
Therapy Team Training Program
Offers a seven-week training course consisting of six classes and a Therapy Dog Evaluation using positive methods.

About
Founded in 1986, Companion Animal Program (CAP) enhances the lives of Cape Cod residents by providing pet therapy to older adults, disabled individuals, children, and youth in various settings like libraries, schools, and hospitals. CAP trains and certifies volunteer Therapy Teams (pet and owner) to meet high safety and behavioral standards, bringing therapeutic support and enjoyment to those in need.
Mission
The Companion Animal Program enhances the quality of life for Cape Cod residents and those of surrounding communities through the provision of pet therapy.
