About
The Computer Assisted Learning Center (CALC) in Hilo, Hawaii, directed by Kit Holz, provided adult literacy programs for over 15 years. CALC assisted adult learners re-entering education through tutoring, technology training, and community support. The center, housed in the Hilo Public Library, unfortunately disbanded in June 2020.
Mission
CALC helps adults acquire/improve their skills through free access to learning resources and tutoring services.
