The Conestoga Area Historical Society, founded in 1990 and opened its museum in 1996, is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to preserving the history of the Penn Manor Area in southwest Lancaster County, PA. It fulfills its mission through the exchange of ideas, preservation of resources, and presentation of historical artifacts in its museum and buildings. CAHS has over 330 members and is governed by a 15-member board.
