Provides gender and age-designated care packages including toiletries, a blanket, stuffed animal, snacks, and CHD information to Children's Mercy Hospital.

A camp designed for children with congenital heart defects, offering a secure space for camping with medical support and activities. Free to attending children.

About
The Congenital Heart Defects Families Association (CHDFA), founded in 2009, supports Kansas City heart families through support groups, activities, care packages, and handmade blankets. It was born from a Heart Walk team in memory of Noah Rexin, who passed away from congenital heart defects. CHDFA also contributes to research at Children's Mercy Hospital and raises funds for the American Heart Association.
Mission
Supporting families impacted by congenital heart defects with care packages, support groups, educational resources and family activities. CHD Families is a volunteer-run organization focused on family support.
