CONNECTICUT ASSOCIATION OF PREVENTION PROFESSIONALS, founded in 1991, is a statewide network of prevention advocates. CAPP identifies behavioral health trends, promotes prevention, and supports the field through resources and advocacy. It envisions a CT that prioritizes prevention, celebrates healthy choices, and proactively addresses behavioral health issues. CAPP became the CT affiliate of SAM (Smart Approaches to Marijuana) in 2014.
Mission
CAPP is a statewide network of prevention advocates that identifies and spreads awareness of behavioral health trends while ensuring growth of the field and providing resources across the state.
