About
The CT Certification Board (CCB), est. 1980, is a nonprofit ensuring competent SUD professionals. It offers certification for addiction counselors, recovery specialists, supervisors, & prevention professionals. CCB ensures quality training, participates in workforce development, & promotes ethical practice, protecting individuals receiving services. CCB joined the Certification Reciprocity Consortium in 1983 and remains an active member of IC&RC.

Established in 1980, the Connecticut Certification Board is dedicated to safeguarding the public by ensuring the competence, ethical conduct, and ongoing training of substance use disorder professionals through credentialing and education.
