About
Founded in 1994, Connecticut Classic Chevy encourages the restoration/preservation of 1955-57 Chevrolets. As a local chapter of Classic Chevy International, they host an annual Memorial Day car show with the Hamden Police, donating over $700,000 to charities and sponsoring scholarships at local universities. Known as “The Club with a Heart,” they've also hosted three Classic Chevy International Conventions.
Mission
Connecticut Classic Chevy encourages the restoration and preservation of 1955 through 1957 Chevrolet vehicles. Proceeds from events have enabled the club to donate over $700,000 to several national and local charities and sponsor scholarships.
