COSTA, est. 1982, promotes school bus safety in CT. Representing most public and private school bus owners, COSTA offers continuing education, safety competitions, driver recognition, and instructor training. They transport nearly 500,000 children daily, working with state agencies to ensure safe rides to school.
Mission
The Connecticut School Transportation Association promotes and fosters the highest degree of safety in the transportation of school children across Connecticut. They represent virtually all of the public and private owners of school buses in the state, ensuring the safe transport of students.
