Founded in 1944 (originally as the Zelienople Harmony Community Chest, renamed in 1961), the Connoquenessing Valley Community Chest raises funds to support local 501(c)3 charitable organizations that serve the needs of its neighbors. Over $1.5 million has been raised and distributed to approved nonprofits serving the local area. Nearly 99% of funds raised go directly to recipients.
