The Coos County Cultural Coalition, founded in 2005, preserves and develops arts, heritage, and humanities in Coos County, OR. As the local re-granting arm of the Oregon Cultural Trust, it distributes grants to support cultural activities that meet the priorities outlined in the Coos County Cultural Plan, including arts education, local history, community theater and library programs.
Mission
The Coos County Cultural Coalition preserves, protects, and develops the arts, heritage, and humanities in Coos County. They distribute grant monies to qualified applicants with funds from the Oregon Cultural Trust and support cultural activities that meet the priorities stated in the Coos County Cultural Plan.
