The Council on Public Higher Education in Missouri (COPHE), founded in 1973, supports and advances Missouri's public universities and State Technical College. Comprised of the institutions' presidents, COPHE serves nearly 100,000 students, promoting excellent education, research, and service while fostering an appreciation for public higher education among state leaders and the public.
