About
Ballet Excel Ohio, formerly Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet, is a nationally acclaimed pre-professional dance company founded in 1975. It trains young dancers (ages 8-18) and performs original ballets. The company aims to provide professional-level training, performance opportunities, and educate young audiences in the art of ballet. It was founded by Nan Klinger and is currently under the artistic direction of Mia Klinger.
Mission
Ballet Excel Ohio provides professional training and performance opportunities to young dancers. They educate young audiences in the art of ballet through original children’s ballets performed by children, for children.
