CYPRECO of America, Inc., founded in 1977 (initially as "The Vraka") by Elena Maroulleti and Ioannis Ioannou, is a Queens-based, multi-awarded non-profit dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage, culture, and folklore of Cyprus and Greece. Through folk dances, music, and cultural arts, CYPRECO enriches the lives of Greek Cypriot and Greek Americans while introducing these traditions to the broader public.
