Darke Rural Electric Trust Inc., established in 2003, operates Operation Round-Up, a community fund within the Darke Rural Electric Cooperative service area. Members voluntarily round up their monthly bills, with the extra pennies going to the trust. A separate board disburses these funds to charitable groups and individuals within the service area.
