The De Groot Family Foundation, est. 2005, supports vulnerable populations by enhancing educational, social service, and economic opportunities, primarily in Michigan. Founded by Peter and Louise De Groot, Dutch immigrants who started a successful flower bulb company, the foundation reflects their commitment to charitable servitude and the values of hard work and helping those with less opportunity.
