Delta Chi Fraternity, founded at Cornell University in 1890, promotes friendship, develops character, advances justice, and assists in the acquisition of a sound education. Originally a law fraternity, it became a general fraternity in 1922. The Cornell Alpha chapter has resided on The Knoll since 1918, a NY State Historic Site.
Mission
Delta Chi, founded at Cornell in 1890, evolved from a law fraternity to a general fraternity, welcoming members from all academic disciplines. As an international organization, Delta Chi promotes brotherhood and personal development, while upholding values of integrity.
