The Denver Lyric Opera Guild, founded in 1965, supports young singers and promotes opera appreciation. It provides vocal scholarships to Colorado universities and grants to apprentice opera programs. Its signature event, the Competition for Colorado Singers, awards significant funds to support singers' careers.
